S
hrii Shrii Anandamurti gave several big ideas that are destined to have major impact on the development of humanity's future.
1. Spiritual philosophy. In this already developed field, Anandamurti gave a number of important new or deepened understandings in the sub-fields of cosmology, ontology, science of mind (yoga psychology and biopsychology), intuitional science and ethics. He also organized spiritual philosophy into a logically arranged and comprehensive system. And he articulated his philosophy in a manner better suited to modern humanity's appreciation for rationality and science. In this achievement, he successfully formulated a spiritual philosophy well-suited to becoming the foundation for humanity's world view in the coming era..
2. Spiritual practices. There are two important sub-aspects of the realm of spiritual practices in which Anandamurti made important contributions:
3. PROUT. Anandamurti also gave a social theory, called the 'Progressive Utilization Theory', or PROUT. This theory is based on a God/spiritual-oriented psychology, as opposed to capitalism, which is based on a self-oriented psychology; communism, based on a matter-oriented psychology; and fundamentalism, based on a dogma-centered psychology. PROUT is a comprehensive social theory, containing all of the components necessary for a complete political philosophy: value base, theory of history, social/cultural concepts, economic system, political system, ecological philosophy, future vision, and methodology for change. The core purpose of PROUT is to provide all people equitable scope to develop, and progressively express, their physical, mental and spiritual potentials, while maintaining balance between individual and collective interests, and while maintaining harmony with the rest of life on earth.
4. Neohumanism. Anandamurti gave neohumanism to extend humanist values to the created world and to securely ground humanity's value base in spirituality. The adoption of a neohumanist outlook will serve to insure that the human intellect can develop and express in a social realm that is unimpeded by dogma. And neohumanism has the potential to instill in humanity the awareness of our fundamental unity, that is essential to planetary survival, and to establish cardinal values that will promote mutual respect and mutual cooperation to enable all to develop and express themselves fully. Neohumanism is the value base that underlies PROUT.
5. Microvita. Anandamurti opened a powerful new realm of scientific development through his putting the concept of life force into the beginnings of a scientific paradigm form. In doing so, Anandamurti introduced the term 'microvita' to identify the quantum particles of life, the animating substance of living beings and the media of mind. Anandamurti has explained how microvita arise in the initial stage of the creation of life as the releasing of life energy from matter that is in a state of dense compression — thereby setting in motion the mechanism for conscious to move from crudified expression back to an unbound state. The application of the science of microvita will result in such important advances as new pharmaceuticals, enhanced biofertilizers, improvements in energy medicine, and an abundant new source of energy.
These five monumental contributions to human thought and sadhana given by Anandamurti will enable humanity to create for itself a bright future; they will be the driving forces of our future evolution. They constitute a great gift, bestowed by Anandamurti to the whole of humanity.
The core purpose of PROUT is to provide all people equitable scope to develop, and progressively express, their physical, mental and spiritual potentials, while maintaining balance between individual and collective interests, and while maintaining harmony with the rest of life on earth.
